Memo Danger Mouse is not only known for the success of Gnarls Barkley but it is also recognized as a producer for eclectic Gorillaz, Martina Topley Bird ( which I recommend warmly disks ) Sparklehorse is a rock band whose self- Mark Linkous leader committed suicide in March 2010. This disc is ready since 2009 but never officially published after a legal tangle with EMI, it is now available from July 12.
Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse (and David Lynch for the visual and three pieces) have combined their talents for 16 songs involving other prestigious names such as Julian Casablancas, Iggy Pop, Suzanne Vega, and most prestigious Black interests us Francis.
First impression listening to this song 'Angel's Harp': it looks like a real good song and Black Francis. One might have feared it just came to put his voice on a group composition, but if the music is a mixture of a big guitar riff and subtle electronic noises must recognize a simple melody basic and typical Black Francis we love.
